To Widen the View of all Cosmically minded individuals who desire to read the whole Urantia Book so as to have a fuller, more complete understanding of its message.
If you read six pages a day, you will have the tome finished just a few days shy of one year.
Description:
Six Pages a Day 2008

SPAD '08 is largely a self-directed study group designed to assist serious Urantia Book students in reading the entire Urantia Book at the rate of six pages a day. Students will complete one reading of the whole tome by the end of 2008. At this time, anyone may join at any time during the year-long study provided they are a serious Urantia Book student. Student/Members must agree and adhere to the Statement of Principles when posting and interacting in the group. You must be subscribed to the Focus Group to participate.
Purpose:
Read The Urantia Book in One Year

To complete one full reading of the Urantia Papers beginning with the "Foreword" on January 1, 2008 and ending on page 2,097 in December, 2008.

This group provides a place for student/members to interact with each other during the course of the study. You may pose questions and answers, as well as simple musings or opinions, to one another as the study moves along throughout the year.

Available Schedules

A. If you read six pages a day, following Gerdean Bowen's Calendar schedule, you will finish the tome within days of year's end. The last entry for 2007 is/was December 26. Allowance will be made for particularly difficult segments. Anticipate a day off periodically. Simply click on the word "Calendar" in the main menu of any UBRON webpage.  

B. If you read six pages a day, following Holly Carmichael's "Annual Urantia Book Reading Schedule" in "Our Library" in "Our Documents" you will finish the book two weeks shy of one year. The document has live links to a free online version of The Urantia Book that enables you to read the book online. Simply go to UBRON's main menu and click on "Our Library" and follow the directions.

C. If you read six pages a day, following the original JUMP Train  six pages a day schedule created by Bruce Schuman, you will read exactly six pages a day and finish two weeks shy of one year. You can download and print this schedule for your convenience. Simply go to UBRON's main menu and click on "Our Library" and then on "Our Links". Scroll to the schedule and follow the directions.
